Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island is seeking a Co-Care Coordination Supervisor in West Islip, NY. This leadership role supports the CSOM and Hospital Administrator, ensuring high-quality client services and adherence to VMCLI policies by clerical staff.

You will supervise Client Care Coordinators, manage front desk operations, payroll tasks, and patient flow while maintaining a compassionate, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years supervising experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in customer service management.
• Veterinary experience is preferred.
• High School Degree or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in computer use and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all frontend clerical employees adhere to Customer Service Standards and VMCLI policies & procedures.
• Ensures that the highest quality client services are offered to all clients, visitors, callers, and email inquiries.
• Handles Customer complaints under direction of the CSOM, professionally with diplomatic resolutions.
• Upholds and supports quality improvement programs and culture.
• Enhance and uphold the highest customer service standards.
• Communicates with the CSOM & HA through regular meetings.
• Instills teamwork amongst clerical staff and other departments.
• Ensures the Client patient process is positive, keeping clients informed of delays and educating on pet ownership.
• Maintains a compassionate attitude towards all people and animals.
• Maintains a clean, pleasant environment and proper clerical dress code.
• Assists CSOM with payroll time records and modifications for personnel.
• Supports scheduling CCCs and monitoring vacation/sick time.
• Assists CSOM with annual performance appraisals and drafting for CCCs.
• Manages billed accounts and client AR; handles collections.
• Oversees assigned administration tasks and policy implementation.
