Job summary

North Avenue Animal Hospital is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to deliver exceptional client experiences at the front desk. The CSR handles appointments, records maintenance, and payments with a client-centered approach to pet care.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, managing medical records, processing payments, and coordinating communication between clients and veterinarians. Weekend availability and a high school diploma are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Customer service and front-desk duties in a veterinary setting.
• Ability to manage schedules and client records.
• OSHA safety practices including PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening and closing procedures per written instructions.
• Maintain clean and presentable front desk and waiting areas.
• Process cash, checks, credit payments and client accounts.
• Schedule appointments adhering to doctor preferences and workflow.
• Update client/patient files and client correspondence.
• Send reminders and follow up with clients from a callback list.
• Back up computer system as directed.
• Post daily business activities.
• Greet clients and patients with a friendly demeanor.
• Answer calls with proper telephone etiquette.
