Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary clinic is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including some weekend and holiday shifts.
• Strong verbal and written communication, good judgment and ability to manage stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and place calls to clients for scheduling.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner.
• Maintain documentation through client and pet records.
• Assist clients with instructions, information, invoices, dispense prescriptions, and schedule future appointments.
• Use hospital systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and teammates.
• Handle finances with accurate balances and cash/credit card procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service in a professional manner.
• Educate clients on preventative care and hospital services.
• Maintain a positive attitude with clients, pets, and teammates.
• Show empathy toward clients and treat pets with compassion.
