Qualifications

• 2+ years veterinary client service experience
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Compassion for pets and people
• Proven decision-making skills to choose appropriate action
• Ability to integrate new information into problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work around pet-related hazards

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Place outbound calls for follow-ups and prospective clients.
• Present and explain fees; process payments.
• Recommend and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educate clients on general pet care.
• Manage electronic medical records, reports and correspondence.
