Littleton West Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team and support exceptional experiences for clients and patients across all aspects of hospital care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary assistant or related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in safe animal handling and low-stress restraint for dogs and cats.
• Experience with exams, treatments, blood draws, and outpatient procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Strong client communication and compassionate service.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Provide safe patient handling and restraint during care.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for appointments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients clearly.
• Build positive client relationships through education and service.
