Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Veterinary Assistant certificate is an asset.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Exceptional communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Reception duties: greet clients, check patients in/out, answer multi-line calls, schedule appointments and manage records.
• Clinical Assistance: restraint of dogs/cats, prep rooms, assist with exams, lab support and sanitation.
• Financial duties: process payments, explain invoices or basic estimates to clients.
