PetMedicUrgent Care Vet Clinic in Portland is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join a fast-paced urgent care team. You will work with experienced doctors to deliver high-quality care, maintain medical records, and support surgical and treatment areas. Evening shifts and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones.
• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Perform physical assessments and record observations.
• Explain follow-up and home care instructions.

Responsibilities

• Stock clinic treatment area and inform inventory manager when supplies are low.
• Care for surgical materials and keep the operating room stocked and prepared.
• Explain financial commitments and prepare treatment estimates for clients.
• Commit to evening shifts and weekends.
