Compensation

  • $25-28/hour, commensurate with experience and licensure

As a Veterinary Assistant - Urgent Care, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our urgent care department runs smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will:

  • Safely handle and restrain patients
  • Assist with radiographs, lab sample collection, and basic lab work (PCV/TP, smears, urinalysis)
  • Monitor and record patient vitals, alerting the medical team to any abnormalities
  • Support technicians and veterinarians in patient monitoring, anesthetic induction and recovery
  • Keep treatment areas as well as equipment clean and organized
  • Provide excellent communication with clients and contribute to a collaborative team culture
