PetMedicUrgent Care Vet Clinic in Portland is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join a fast-paced urgent care team. You will work with experienced doctors to deliver high-quality care, maintain medical records, and support surgical and treatment areas. Evening shifts and weekend availability are required.

$21.00-26.00 hourly pay rate

What you'll do

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
• Keepaccuratemedical recordsin accordance withhospital policy
• Prepare andmaintainthe exam rooms and treatment areas
• Perform physical assessments and record your observations
• Prepare estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients
• Explain necessary follow‑up and home care instructions
• Stock clinic treatment area and exam rooms, and inform inventory manager when supplies need to be ordered
• Care for all surgical materials and keep the operating room properly stocked and prepared for surgery
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to commit to evening shifts and weekends

• Minimum 3 years' experience
