• Preferred 1 year of veterinary practice or related animal care experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, escort to exam room, record weight and vital signs in EMR.
• Assist doctors with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Perform patient restraint, collect labs, dispense medications per vet direction, maintain EMR.
• Schedule appointments, provide client education, relay test results, update records.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist in anesthesia and recovery.
• Administer in-hospital treatments and monitor patients as directed by vet staff.
• Assist in training new staff and share knowledge as required.
• Keep hospital environment neat, clean, and on schedule.
