PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic in Warwick, RI is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced team. You will work closely with experienced doctors to deliver the highest quality care to our animal patients, with a focus on compassionate support and efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
• Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
• Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas
• Perform physical assessments and record observations
• Prepare estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients
• Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions
• Stock clinic treatment area and inform inventory manager when supplies need ordering
• Care for surgical materials and keep the operating room stocked and prepared for surgery

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
• Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
• Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas
• Perform physical assessments and record your observations
• Prepare estimates for procedures and discusses financial commitments with clients
