Rarebreed Veterinary Partners in Albany, NY is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our urgent care team. You’ll work with DVMs and technicians in a fast-paced environment, contributing to patient care and client education while gaining exposure to the latest veterinary tech.

Requirements include a minimum of one year of experience; urgent care or ER experience preferred; evening and weekend availability.

• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Urgent care or ER experience preferred but not required.
• Able to commit to evening and weekend shifts.

• Comfortable with client education (reviewing medications, relaying treatment plans and discharge instructions)
• Obtain radiographs and perform in house bloodwork
