Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic in Muncy, PA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital. The role involves exam room support, surgical assistance, and in-house diagnostics, with a focus on client communication and high-quality patient care.

The position is full-time on a 4 x 10 schedule, with Monday–Friday availability and rotating weekend shifts. Compensation is hourly with a bonus package and full benefits; the clinic emphasizes a supportive culture

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary assistant experience required
• Proficiency in client education and communication
• Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint

• Oral medication administration and SQ injections
• Venipuncture skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication, including check-ins, treatment plan review, and discharge instructions
• Assist our surgery team with patient prep, setup, monitoring, and recovery
• Perform in-house diagnostics including microscopy and laboratory sample collection and processing
• Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity
• Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care
• Jump in wherever you're needed — this is a team-first environment and we value versatility as much as technical skill

Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

In this role, you will:

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $15 – $17 per hour, for each hour worked
• Schedule: This is a full-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday–Friday with rotating weekend shifts every 4–5 weeks.
