Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in animal care, veterinary, kennel, or customer service is a plus but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinary technicians and doctors with daily patient care and medical procedures
  • Be a champion for patient care and comfort
  • Follow appropriate safety precautions and restrain pets to minimize stress during procedures
  • Assist with collecting and preparing laboratory samples as directed
  • Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for appointments and procedures
  • Walk, feed, and care for hospitalized and boarding pets as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑stocked hospital environment
  • Carry out skills like venipuncture, vaccine administration, and medication dispensing
  • Ensure boarding, grooming, and hospitalized pets feel at home
  • Learn and develop veterinary skills under the guidance of experienced staff
  • Be a dependable extra set of hands and a positive presence for the team

In this role, you’ll work alongside our experienced veterinary technicians and doctors to help provide excellent patient care and keep our hospital running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous animal care, veterinary, kennel, or customer service experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person
  • A genuine love and compassion for animals
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
  • Is punctual and has excellent time management skills
  • A self‑starter with excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Possess a good attitude and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Strong multitasker with attention to detail
  • Positive, ethical, and reliable team player
