Job summary

Overland Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or RVT to join our collaborative team in Los Angeles area. The role offers opportunities to work closely with doctors, provide advanced nursing care, and support anesthesia and dental procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years veterinary experience preferred.
  • RVT preferred but experienced Veterinary Technicians encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with appointments, treatments, and advanced nursing care.
  • Support surgery through patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery.
  • Assist with dental procedures, including cleanings and extractions.
  • Perform laboratory diagnostics and administer medications as directed by veterinarians.
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Collaborate closely with doctors and teammates to provide exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience preferred

  • Dental experience, including cleanings; extraction experience is a plus
