Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in customer service, patient access, or medical operations.
• Experience with EMR systems and insurance verification preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient access, scheduling, insurance verification, and data accuracy.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars for clinic flow.
• Verify eligibility, referrals, and authorizations; ensure documentation.
• Collect payments and explain financial responsibilities to patients.
• Enter and update patient data in EMR and billing systems.
• Respond to patient inquiries with HIPAA-compliant service.
