Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) seeks an experienced full-time Field Representative to serve as the Member’s primary liaison to veterans, active-duty service members, military families, first responders, and rural communities across the district.

This role builds on the incumbent’s background to strengthen stakeholder engagement and advance priorities related to veterans’ services, defense community issues, rural access, and public safety.

• Experience working with veterans, active-duty service members, and military families.
• Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the district.

Mansioni

• Serve as district office lead on veterans, active-duty service members, and military families.
• Build relationships with VA facilities, DoD liaisons, and veterans' organizations.
• Identify gaps and elevate trends to DC legislative staff.
• Advise the Member on district impacts of federal veterans and defense policy.
• Collaborate with caseworkers on VA, TRICARE, military records, and benefits matters.
• Plan rural outreach and conduct regular travel to rural communities.
• Organize Veterans roundtables, academy information sessions, and events; staff district meetings.
