We are seeking a compassionate and experienced
Veterans Benefits Attorney to join a mission-driven elder law firm. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of skilled paralegals and serve as the primary point of contact for veteran clients, ensuring they receive the benefits, legal advocacy, and attention they deserve.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of paralegals, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure client cases are handled effectively.
- Act as the primary attorney contact for veteran clients, offering compassionate, clear communication and expert legal advice throughout their case journey.
- Represent veterans in hearings before the Board of Veterans' Appeals (BVA), advocating for their benefits claims.
- Conduct informal conferences with the VA and participate in additional proceedings related to veterans' benefits.
- Draft legal documents, case strategies, and evidence submissions to support veteran claims.
- Perform initial consultations with prospective veteran clients to assess eligibility, needs, and recommend services.
- Maintain well-organized and accessible client files to support efficient case management.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to resolve cases efficiently and favorably.
- Contribute to marketing and networking initiatives, such as writing articles, attending speaking engagements, and supporting business development activities as assigned by leadership.
Key Qualifications
- Must be an Accredited VA Attorney with proven experience in Veterans Benefits Law.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to prepare comprehensive legal documents and hearing strategies.
- Prior experience leading or supervising a team of paralegals or legal support staff is highly valued.
- License to practice law in Florida preferred; however, attorneys licensed in other states are encouraged to apply if they demonstrate strong alignment with the role.
- Excellent communication, client service, and organizational skills.
