Job summary

ColumbiaCare Services seeks a Veterans Affairs Housing (VASH) Case Manager to work on-site in Seattle, WA. The role coordinates with VA providers and HUD-VASH, assisting veterans with documentation, landlord connections, and housing applications.

Requires master’s-level licensure or active licensure progress, travel within King County, and CPR/BLS certification. Strong knowledge of tenant laws and housing resources is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field is required.
• VA vouchering and HUD rental assistance familiarity is preferred.
• Experience with homelessness and/or public housing authority is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with VA service providers and HUD-VASH program; ensure compliance.
• Assist veterans in obtaining documentation (birth certificates, driver’s license, income verification).
• Identify landlords with Section 8 housing; assist with applications and moving in.
• Understand Washington landlord-tenant laws and coordinate with Public Housing Authority.
