Walla Walla Veterans Home in Washington is seeking a Nursing Assistant Certified for a full-time night shift (10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.).

The role involves direct patient care in a homelike setting, supporting veterans with daily living activities and nursing tasks under supervision of a licensed RN. The position requires an active WA CNA license, OBRA Registry status, English proficiency, and adherence to safety and competency standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington state license to practice as a nursing assistant certified.
• Active OBRA Registry status.
• Proficient in English (read, write and speak).
• Agency required competencies: willingness to learn and meet others' needs.

Responsabilités

• Actively participate in the resident's care plan.
• Assist with daily living activities and therapies under RN direction.
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity and safety.
• Record vital signs and document intake/output.
• Assist with repositioning and mobility aids.
• Keep resident rooms and common spaces clean and sanitary.
• Lead therapeutic recreational activities.
