Washington Soldiers Home, operated by the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA), is hiring a Nursing Assistant Certified for a full-time day shift. You will provide direct patient care to Veterans, document vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living as part of a compassionate care team.

Qualifications include a current NAC license in Washington, OBRA active status, ability to lift 60 pounds, and English proficiency.

Qualificações

• Six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting or six months experience involving direct patient care.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English to facilitate effective and safe clinical care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in delivery of nursing and nursing-related care to Veterans.
• Follow care plans and document vital signs and patient data in electronic medical records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transport residents as needed.
• Monitor and report changes to licensed personnel and participate in therapies and treatments under supervision.
