Valor Healthcare seeks a Medical Office Receptionist for the Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Ithaca, NY. You will greet veterans, schedule appointments, input patient data into the EMR, and support the PACT team to deliver quality care.

You will provide excellent customer service, handle phone inquiries, and help ensure compliance with regulatory standards. A high school diploma and VA credentialing are required, with at least 1 year in a clinical or call center setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a clinical or call center environment.
• EMR experience preferred.
• Credentialed and in good standing with the VA.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA) and ACLS as required by VA contract.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and check them in/out of the clinic.
• Input patient information into EMR (VISTA/CPRS).
• Answer phones and relay messages promptly.
• Schedule clinic appointments and coordinate patient flow.
• Ensure compliance with OIG, JC, EOC, and lab requirements.
