Job summary

The Veterans Benefits Administration is seeking a Veterans Service Representative (Coach) to lead an assigned team within the Veterans Service Center (VSC) division in Little Rock. You will guide staff responsible for providing information, advice and assistance on Veterans benefits claims and related outreach.

This is not a remote position; the selectee must report in person to the Little Rock Regional Office in Arkansas to fulfill duties and supervision.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the federal service.
• Experience leading a team delivering information and services on benefits programs.
• Knowledge of VA Compensation and Pension benefits processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead an assigned team within the Veterans Service Center (VSC).
• Provide information, advice and assistance on Veterans benefits claims.
• Ensure quality and timeliness of service meets performance goals.
• Direct resources to achieve the teams' assigned outcomes.
