Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Anchorage VA Medical Center is seeking a Transportation Assistant - Transportation Coordinator to serve as the primary contact for Veterans needing transportation.

You will support the Veteran Transportation Service by scheduling, data collection, and workload forecasting under the supervision of the Supervisory Mobility Manager. The role involves reviewing documents, entering data into CPRS-based systems, generating reports, and coordinating day-to-day

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience directly related to transportation support, including scheduling and data handling.
• Experience coordinating connections/scheduling, documenting travel information, and producing reports.
• Knowledge of CPRS and automated tracking systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs transportation support duties, coordinating connections and scheduling.
• Collects, compiles, and tracks data daily to support VTS operations.
• Prepares basic data analyses and generates a variety of reports.
• Entrusted with planning and directing program workflows for the VTS.
