Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field.
• OR 4+ years of relevant homeless services experience.
• Experience with veterans, homelessness, or behavioral health is preferred.
• Strong crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and client engagement skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities.
• Valid driver’s license to transport clients when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of a residential housing program for veterans.
• Support a therapeutic community through structured activities and resident engagement.
• Provide direct services including life skills coaching, wellness checks, and counseling.
• Facilitate support groups, workshops, and life skills classes.
• Conduct intakes, resident check-ins, and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Monitor and de-escalate behavioral issues to maintain safety.
• Collaborate with case managers, clinical teams, and property management.
• Coordinate transportation services and vehicle logs.
• Plan resident activities and community engagement initiatives.
• Maintain client records, service documentation, and program reports.
• Track donations, inventory, and program resources.
• Assist with data collection, HMIS reporting, and program compliance.
