Job summary

Center for Veterans Issues, Inc. (CVI) seeks a compassionate Case Manager for its Suicide Prevention Program in Wisconsin.

You will work with Veterans and families, conducting risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis intervention to connect clients with VA and community resources. The role emphasizes care coordination, advocacy, and education—building wellness plans, coordinating housing, employment, and benefits, and ensuring compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum of two years of case management experience.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct suicide risk assessments using standardized tools.
• Develop individualized safety plans and WRAPs.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support.
• Coordinate care with VA and community resources (housing, benefits, health services).
• Advocate for participant rights and access to services.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and comply with regulations.
