The Transition House, Inc. seeks a collaborative, mission‑driven Program Director to lead the Veteran Connection and Suicide Prevention Program.

This government‑funded role focuses on developing services, guiding a multidisciplinary team, and strengthening partnerships with the VA and community providers in an Orange/Osceola/ Seminole service area. You will monitor quality and performance, ensure timely, respectful support for Veterans, and drive recovery‑oriented, trauma‑informed care across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or significant relevant experience managing human-services, Veteran-services, behavioral-health, homelessness, housing, reentry, or community-based programs.
• Experience coordinating services across multiple community systems.
• Experience managing program operations, employee performance, documentation, and contractual or regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the SSG Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program.
• Supervise, coach, and develop staff across multiple veteran‑focused roles.
• Implement the approved program model, staffing plan, workflows, policies, and grant‑performance expectations.
• Monitor program capacity, staff workload, and timely access to services.
• Promote a Veteran‑centered, trauma‑informed, strengths‑based culture.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and grant reporting requirements.
