Job summary

Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) in the United States offers a pathway for veterans to become Kia Certified Service Technicians. The program provides full-time employment with participating Kia Retailers and access to tools, equipment, and training necessary to complete the apprenticeship and certification process.

Participants may qualify for a substantial GI Bill Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship, along with the chance to advance into a Kia Service

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge required.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field.
• Willingness to pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles across components.
• Complete repair orders and warranty requests per Kia and retailer policies.
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose using Kia diagnostic methods and tools.
• Perform services promptly while communicating with shop foreman and service advisor.
