Job summary

U.S.VETS Las Vegas seeks a Veteran Service Assistant to support daily operations in our Las Vegas residential programs. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment for veterans and assist with basic services under supervision.

This entry-level role offers hands-on training, teamwork, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven organization that helps veterans rebuild their lives.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations in residential programs, including shelter needs and general client support.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean and structured environment; de-escalate conflicts and follow safety procedures.
  • Conduct bed checks, room inspections, and assist with move-ins/move-outs as needed.
  • Maintain logs, incident reports, and required records accurately.

Do you work well in structured environments where your consistency and awareness help keep things running smoothly?U.S.VETS—the nation’s largest nonprofit dedicated to preventing and ending veteran homelessness—is seeking a Veteran Service Assistant to support daily operations within our Las Vegas residential programs.This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is ready to learn, contribute, and be part of a team that supports veterans in real, practical ways.The OpportunityAs a Veteran Service Assistant, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment for veterans residing in our programs.
