Job summary

North Hennepin Community College is seeking a Military and Veteran Services Coordinator to lead services for military-connected students and serve as the School Certifying Official. The role requires coordinating with Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, and more to ensure enrollment and success.

You will interpret federal/state regulations and manage benefits navigation, collaborating across campus and the community to promote belonging and completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional experience in higher education or related fields.
• Master’s degree in higher education or related area preferred.
• Experience with military-connected students and benefits navigation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination for military and veteran student services across departments.
• Serve as the institution’s School Certifying Official (SCO) and regulatory expert.
• Support enrollment, retention, and engagement for military-connected students.
