Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies is seeking a Residential Technician to support veterans in a transitional housing program. The role ensures safety and security, monitors activity, and conducts contraband checks to maintain a secure environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. Prior residential setting experience is preferred, with opportunities for part-time or full-time hours based on program needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's license is required.
• One year of work experience in a residential setting or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and operational control of the facility.
• Monitor resident and visitor activity inside and outside the facility.
• Monitor for contraband and perform searches as needed.
• Administer drug testing to monitor resident alcohol and drug use.
• Assign and monitor resident work and extra-duty tasks to maintain cleanliness.
• Assist residents with coping strategies and problem-solving.
• Provide transportation or help residents access transportation.
• This role may perform other duties as assigned.
