Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight for the Veteran Transitional Housing Program (GPD), ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, housing-focused services to veterans experiencing homelessness.

The role requires supervising staff, managing program operations and budgets, ensuring compliance with VA, federal, state, and local regulations, and achieving contract outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, human services, or a closely related field.
• 1 year of direct supervisory or management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to fulfill relevant program compliance and administrative requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams of human service professionals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise client service teams and oversee program operations and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with VA, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop and monitor grant agreements and reporting to program funders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and facilitate data-informed program improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality and data integrity.
