Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a part-time Case Manager for the Durango Community Shelter. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• One year direct experience with vulnerable populations.
• Own automobile, Colorado-mandated automobile insurance and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Assess eligibility and conduct intakes in the Grant Per Diem program.
• Coordinate services and provide case management for homeless veterans.
• Develop life skills programs and recruit individuals to teach topics such as employment and independent living.
• Create and implement activities for program participants and locate volunteer opportunities.
• Communicate program information to participants and act as community liaison.
