Job summary

Friendship Place seeks an SSVF Case Manager to provide shallow subsidy, homeless prevention, and rapid re-housing services to low-income Veteran Households under the Supportive Services for Veteran Families grant. The role emphasizes a participant-centered approach and housing stability, with fieldwork most of the time.

The position is hybrid with flexible hours and requires driving, collaboration with landlords, VA, and community partners, and SOAR training to increase household income.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a similar setting preferred.
• Must have or obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification (training provided).
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide shallow subsidy case management to at least 50 Veteran participants over 2 years.
• Develop and revise 90-day and 2-year housing stability plans.
• Monitor income changes and assist with budgeting quarterly.
• Deliver face-to-face contact with participants.
