Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project seeks a Financial Readiness Specialist to educate wounded service members and their families in personal finances, while delivering comprehensive case management and financial guidance. The role emphasizes accountability, equity, and practical support to improve economic well‑being.

You will manage a FR caseload, coordinate seminars with partners, and document outcomes in Salesforce, driving resiliency and long‑term financial security for warriors and their families.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in financial counseling, financial education, or personal financial management services.
• Two years of experience working with military or veteran population.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, financial management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver financial education curriculum and seminars to support wounded service members and family members in attaining financial stability.
• Manage a Financial Readiness (FR) caseload and maintain detailed records.
• Record data in Salesforce and refer to internal programs and community resources as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors to provide financial education seminars and guidance, including debt management and credit counseling.
• Provide practical financial guidance to empower warriors and families to plan for resiliency and long-term stability.
