Job summary

VetJobs is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor to deliver comprehensive financial counseling on military installations. You will educate service members and their families, help create spending plans, and offer workshops and resources both in person and virtually where needed.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in counseling, and U.S. citizenship with fluency in English; bilingual capabilities may be required by contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling services to service members and families.
• Develop spending plans and financial education materials.
• Conduct financial education classes/workshops and briefings.
• Coordinate with installation staff and POC to ensure program scope and needs.
• Utilize virtual counseling modes when required.
