The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Pittsburgh, PA, to join the Community Living Center at the HJ Heinz Campus.

This LPN will provide compassionate, veteran-centered care in a safe, home-like environment for eligible Veterans requiring nursing home level care. Collaborate with RNs/MDs to deliver timely care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and educate patients/families about treatments.

Qualifications

• Must possess active LPN/LVN licensure in the United States.
• Experience in providing nursing care to adults in a clinical or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.

Responsabilités

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Provide nursing care that supports activities of daily living and rehabilitative goals.
• Collaborate with RNs and physicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and safety precautions.
• Document patient observations accurately and promptly in the medical record.
