Job summary

The Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at the Gino Merli Veterans' Center in Scranton. This full-time role is dedicated to providing compassionate care for veterans and their families in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practice Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
• Must have a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Licensed Practical Nurse license when appointed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN by checking resident health status and ensuring documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Observe residents for changes and document care activities.
• Coordinate care with the RN and participate in nursing committees.
• Ensure hygiene and safety practices are followed.
• Provide focused care for residents in specialty units.
