Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a Career and Resource Navigator to support individuals in navigating employment, training, education, and resources. The role focuses on holistic support to help clients gain and retain work, advance careers, and achieve personal growth within the community.

The navigator will coordinate with internal and external partners to provide coaching, assess needs, and create development plans that address barriers to employment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in case management, career counseling, or employment service programs preferred.
• Experience with Goodwill or workforce development programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Aids individuals with access to Mission Services programs and barrier removal to allow for achievement.
• Provide career coaching including intake, assessment, guidance, search, and placement support.
• Deliver job readiness and employability skills training in one-on-one and group settings.
• Meet with associates and maintain contact with employers to promote employment or advancement.
• Develop Individualized Development & Employment Plans and identify resources to remove barriers.
