Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist for Compensation & Pension evaluations focused on Veterans. This is a non-treatment, evaluation-only role with flexible scheduling and income supplementation.

You will conduct VA-guidelines audiology evaluations, review records, perform testing, and prepare the required VA reports. This is a 1099 contractor position with in-person opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Master's Degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Access to calibrated audiometer and tympanometer.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and obtain focused history.
• Perform audiometric testing and document results.
• Prepare VA-format reports with objective findings.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Submit documentation within required timeframes.
• Ensure ethical, confidential handling of information.
• Avoid influencing Veteran claim outcomes.
