Job summary

Kiavets in Houston, TX, is looking for Military Veterans with mechanical experience to join as Automotive Service Technicians. This role is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program, which allows Veterans to transition into the automotive industry through hands-on training.

The program offers full-time employment with a participating Kia dealership and GI Bill® benefits, including a Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship.

Ideal candidates will have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service and a clean driving record, with mechanical experience being a significant plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections using Kia diagnostic procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and maintain a safe work environment.
