Job summary

Kiavets in Avon, IN, is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Program. This unique program helps Veterans gain hands-on experience while completing a one-year apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, following procedures, and participating in a supportive learning environment. Ideal candidates will have a background in mechanical or technical fields and must be willing to undergo background checks. Eligible Veterans can also receive a Monthly Housing Allowance during the program.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
• Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality.
