Job summary

Kiavets in Eugene, OR is looking for Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the Automotive Service Technician role. This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) which provides hands-on training, tools, and support to transition into the automotive industry. Candidates will diagnose and repair Kia vehicles while gaining certification. Full-time employment and a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) during the apprenticeship available.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including various systems.
• Perform inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and maintain a safe work environment.
