Job summary

A specialized automotive apprenticeship program for Veterans in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to become Automotive Service Technicians. Through this hands-on program, participants will receive necessary training and support while completing a one-year apprenticeship to earn Kia Service Technician certification. Veterans will also have the opportunity to receive a Monthly Housing Allowance during their training. This full-time role involves diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Eligible Veterans must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles across various systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and make mechanical repairs.
• Test drive vehicles to verify and ensure repair quality.
