Job summary

This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program, providing a one-year competency-based apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Candidates must have an honorable discharge from military service, a valid driver’s license, and experience in a technical field. Full-time employment with training and support is offered, along with potential GI Bill® benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have an honorable discharge from U.S. military service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills needed.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines and electrical systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs using Kia diagnostic procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment following dealership safety procedures.
