Job summary

Oakes Kia in North Kansas City, MO is looking for Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP). This program facilitates a full-time career as an Automotive Service Technician while providing hands-on training and support for Veterans transitioning into the automotive industry. Participants will work under experienced technicians, complete a one-year apprenticeship, and may receive a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.
