Job summary

Kiavets in Wayzata, MN, is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to join the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program. As an Automotive Technician Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while earning Kia Service Technician certification. This full-time position allows you to work alongside experienced technicians while receiving support from the program designed specifically for Military Veterans. Eligible candidates may also receive a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill® during their apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and transmissions.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia diagnostic tools.
• Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Mechanical or technical field experience

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

Education

Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service
