BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Port Washington, WI is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor who can motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals.

The ideal candidate will be a CVT with excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, capable of mentoring staff and coordinating training, meetings, and performance plans in a fast-paced emergency and specialty setting.

Qualifications

• CVT with strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to train and mentor veterinary staff.
• Advanced veterinary skills and clinical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be proactive in addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Work with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback leadership and develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
