Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead a team of veterinary professionals with passion and drive. You will mentor staff, coach colleagues, and organize training to ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, staff development, and collaboration with hospital leadership to maintain exceptional clinical standards and operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate leadership by example and mentor junior staff.
• Coach teammates to be proactive in addressing patient and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor to staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Support and mentor the technicians by utilizing your advanced technical skills.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seeks assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
