BluePearl Pet Hospital in Northfield, IL is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to mentor, train, and lead a team of veterinary professionals in a fast-paced emergency and specialty care environment.

The ideal candidate will have advanced veterinary skills, excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities, and a passion for developing staff through coaching and structured competency assessment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution .
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
